I had a fantastic 3-day weekend and I wanted to share with you some of the highlights!
Friday: It was our turn to host our weekly bible study. We enjoyed BBQ ribs, artisan bread, baked beans, grilled vegetables and home made chocolate chip cookies. I would like to tell you about the grilled vegetables. They were fabulous. Here is the recipe :)
Marinated Barbecued Vegetables
Red and Yellow peppers seeded and cut into chunks
Thinly sliced zucchinis
Fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh basil
4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
I marinated the vegetables overnight and then my fabulous husband barbecued them on the grill.
I will definitely make these again! They are so easy, beautiful, and delicious!
Saturday: Orlando and I got another garden plot, thanks to our neighbor! We spent the day weeding, planting and just enjoying each-other's company!
Sunday: I spent the afternoon with my Aunt Julie :) We went to PF Chang's for Lunch and then we saw the movie "bridesmaids" It was really funny!
Monday: I don't have any pictures, but I did have fun working on some great scrapbook layouts. I am scrap booking for my co-worker, so I will be posting up some of the pages soon.
All in All, a fabulous weekend!

A fun box :)
I needed a box to put on my desk at work to hold my lotion, hand sanitizer, chap stick ect.. so I decided to buy a plain white box from Michael's and decorate it. I used leftover red embellishments and ribbons from my wedding and dressed up the box :) It is perfect and holds everything very well. And it matches with my office decor too!
I am excited to make more of these with different themes in the future :) I think they will be great to hold presents for friends and family. Enjoy!

Cool Project Idea
Thanks to an amazing blog called http://iheartorganizing.blogspot.com/, I found this fabulous craft idea!! These gorgeous wall decorations are made from embroidery hoops and fabric... How cool is that!! I think that I would love to do this for my bedroom or maybe even my kitchen. My husband gave me $20 play money for the week so I think that I will head on over to WalMart or Michael's and see what I can find :)
MY INSPIRATION
I will update you once I give it a try :) I am excited!

The Delicious Duo....
There is nothing better on a sunny afternoon than a Starbucks unsweetened iced coffee with light cream and a cake pop. I have tried all three cake pops (birthday cake pop, rocky road cake pop, and tiramisu cake pop). I have to say that my favorite is the birthday cake pop :) Oh yummmmyyyy!
I hope that you all can enjoy some sunshine and this delicious duo today......
