Cribs....my final pick!

Has anyone ever looked at all the thousands of cribs they have out there and gotten overwhelmed? Oh my goodness! Every color, style, type of wood, price..... It can be rather stressful! My wonderful grandma gave me money to buy a crib so after hours of online searching I have decided on the one below. (NOT the bedding) just the actual white crib. I love how it has the changing table directly attached. What do you think?

I found this version to be the cheapest at Sears. $354.00. It was over $400 at Babies R Us, Amazon..ect. I saw this actual crib at Baby Depot but they only had it in a dark wood. It is quite sturdy which is good.

Anyway, just a little something I wanted to share with you all,

xoxo, Amy

Decorating for Fall

Hi Everybody!

I have never had seasonal decorations before, but I have always envied those who had boxes of decorations that they pulled out for each season... pumpkins and fall wreathes for Fall, lights, ornaments, and snowmen for Winter, cute little chicks and tulips for Spring, and overflowing flowerpots in the Summer. So, since we recently moved into a house, I decided now was the time to become a seasonal decorator. I have had so much fun with Fall decor. First of all, it is my favorite season, and second of all, you can use all the pumpkins later on for pumpkin pie!! I bought all of these decorations for about $20 bucks, and boy, do they make me happy. The pumpkin candle makes the whole house smell of pumpkin pie, and the bright orange colors of the pumpkins are so cheery! Oh and another thing I love about seasonal decor....  it makes me feel REALLY grown up and sophisticated!  :)

Enjoy my "fall house tour"... okay maybe that is a little dramatic but it sounds good huh? I am sure over the years I will buy and collect things and by the time I am, let's say 50 I will have a ton of stuff like all those ladies I am jealous of now! :)

(try to ignore the chair in the background..still working on photo editing...)

Have a great day!!

I love my husband

I just wanted to post some pictures of Orlando and I these past few years. You know you love someone when it is still hard to say goodbye every morning before work, when going grocery shopping together is still fun, and when you can laugh together for hours over nothing..... There are so many things I love about my husband and I just wanted to share this pictures with you :) Sometimes it is easy to focus on the little things that annoy you or frustrate you, so today I decided to sit back and go down memory lane... He is a Stud!!! :) I love you Orlando Rene Barragan! I am so happy to be your wife :)  MUAH!

(Sorry about the weird formatting, I am still learning how to make a "pretty post" help anyone?)

On the mend...

Hi Everyone,

I have some good news! I am definitely on the mend. Not feeling 100% but SOooooooo much better than I was before. I am so thankful that most of the vomiting has ceased! Thank the Lord! I have been able to come to work again (not back to full-time yet) but I will get there :) I have gained back 5 pounds which means I am eating again.. woooo hoooo! Still rather picky with foods, but overall I can eat quite a bit more. I ate 2 pieces of pizza last night!!!!!! I have not started cooking yet as smells still tend to bother me, but I figure in a few weeks you will be able to call me Julia Child ;)

We are moving into our rental house next Thursday. I am SO excited. We have started working on getting the inside "move-in ready" and I want to give a special thanks to My parents, Joe and Renae Kim, Diane Hooper and my hubby for all of their hard work cleaning :) It it so nice to have friends help us out!

I am enjoying the weather change. Fall is definitely my favorite season. It starts to get a little chilly which is fun as you get to change up the wardrobe a little bit. I love when all of the leaves start to change colors. I can't wait to go up to greenbluff one of these days and pick up some pumpkins to put on my front porch. I love all of the autumn decorations they have at the craft stores such as the pretty leaves and candles ect..

I am just in a happy place. Happy to be feeling better, happy for the new season, happy to be moving, happy to have wonderful friends and family, happy that my baby is growing well, just happy to be alive.

I may start posting pictures of the new house and the projects we are working on if I get the chance.

Have a great day everyone!
