Our California Trip

We had a really nice time down in California visiting the family :) Busy and exhausting but really fun.

This is a picture of Rafael (Orlando's Dad) stirring a HUGE pot of Pozole.... YUMMY!

A christmas present for Levi :) We got so many adorable new clothes for him!

Orlando and I with my nieces (Evelyn, Jessica & Monique) Aren't they cute?

A few family members sitting outside eating Christmas dinner. (I really mean it when I say a few. Half of them were not even there yet, and the rest were sitting at the big table inside)

One of my Tias (aunts) passing out Christmas present to the little kiddos :)

I have so many more pictures, but just wanted to share a few. Enjoy!

Letter Update

Hi Everyone,

It has been awhile since I posted anything, sorry. Been so busy with the holidays etc. We just got back from visiting Orlando's family in California. I will post pics later one of our trip.

In terms of letters, we are doing pretty good! My friend Debbie found  B, D, R, & W for me!!

I have decided to buy the rest of the letters (ONES IN RED) at Joann's or Michaels this week so I can start painting them. So nobody worry about searching anymore. THANK YOU everyone for all your help in this project! I could not have done it without you.

Can't wait to get them painted and decorated! Will definitely show you all pictures!

More posts coming soon.....

Love, Amy

Letter Update...

We are doing remarkably well on the letter search. There are just a few more to find. If I don't find them in the next 2 months, I will just buy them at Joanne's or Michaels. I would much rather find them at a thrift store, but at least I have a back-up plan :)

Oh where, oh where are the following letters??

B   D   I   J   K   R   T   U   W   Z

We will find you!!

Winter Wreath Makeover

With winter just around the corner, I decided I better start making something for my front door. My fall  "shoes off" sign is cute, but it soon will need to be taken down and put in the "fall decor" bin :) I found this old Christmas wreath at the thrift store for $3.

I then took off all of the old musty Santa decor and the actual wreath part looked in pretty good shape.

I then decided to make this a "use what I have" craft. I found some blue ribbon and snowflakes that I had bought last year. I think it turned out pretty nice :) And it was really fun to make. It was my first wreath that I have ever made. I am inspired to make one for every season :)

Thanks for stopping by!
